Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint is an English actor best known for playing Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films.
He was born in Hertfordshire on 24 August 1988 to Joanne Grint (house wife) and Nigel Grint (memorabilia dealer).
Before being cast in Harry Potter, he had only appeared in plays for school and his local theatre group. He was nominated 5 times and won 2 awards.
